The big show is tomorrow!

Steele here - oh yayuh.

So tomorrow is our big Waterfront show here in good old Nor-wich. I remember when we first came to this town, shipped over in flight cases then assembled backstage at the Puppet Theatre, just like the start of the 'Other Side' video by Aerosmith. And as I sit here, high on cheap blow and in my refractory period, I thought it would be kind of rad to put my thoughts out to everyone on this, 'Sleazemas Eve'.

When we wrote all of these classic songs back in the 80s, we never thought we'd see the day when we would get to perform them to such a kickass crowd. Back in the early days it wasn't all parties, strip joints and Wimpey; it was hard rehearsals, early nights, and sucking off rich dudes so we could afford instruments (luckily I was fucking a smokin' karaoke star who let me borrow her microphone, so I didn't have to do any gay shit like the other guys). Anyway, my point is that bitchin' bands don't happen overnight, they take work, years of practice, and the occasional miming to a backing tape.

But all of that hard work would be for nothing without the most important people of all - strippers. These beacons of tittie-flippin' joy inspire us to rock the hardest we can every single night, because then they might let us fuck them after the show, or at least stay over for a week or two.

And after the strippers, there are the fans. The REAL people that matter. If you'd have told me when we started all this that we'd be playing to a (95%) sold out Waterfront, then I'd tell you that you were high, then ask you where you got your stash from. I think I speak on behalf of the rest of the band when I say that it means the world to us that you want to give up your precious free time to come and see us do what we love, and have a great time with us in the process. The fact that you love it too and 'get it' makes us enjoy it even more, and without you we'd just be dicking around to an empty venue and a pissy bar staff. We started this band for fun, and we're all honoured to have made so many great friends along the way who support what we do. Because of you, we get to live our dreams whenever we play!

So this one goes out to the Pout fans everywhere. Everyone who's bought a ticket for tomorrow, everyone who has booked a train or hotel, the people driving for miles, everyone who has been following our crazy antics from Day One and those who are having their 'Pout hymens' broken tomorrow night at their first show. We won't let you down.

Keep rockin', motherfuckers!!! \m/ \m/
