The Waterfront.....and beyond.....
Rayuzz here!
I'm sitting in my python print spandex onesie, watching the rain (whilst pouting), and thought I'd bring anybody who gives a rats arse up to date with everything going on in the Pout cayump.
Right. The Waterfront on 7th December. Anybody who was present at our June Waterfront gig, when we also had the brilliant Dead Red and incredible Pocket Godzillas (R.I.P) tearing it up with us, will know that these Waterfront shows are, like Marco Platinum, a bit "special". And December 7th is proving to be even more special! Firstly, ticket sales have gone through the roof. The Waterfront have recalled some of the bands tickets, and I know by next weekend, all our personal allocation will be gone. This bears testament to the unbelievable dedication of the Norwich rock fans. So, on behalf of every band playing on 7th December, a huge "thank you" to everybody!! It really is amazing!
So, 7th December. Doors are 6.30pm, and first band is onstage at 7pm. Yeah, we know it's early, but believe us, if you CAN get there, then do. You wont regret it........
7pm - Wicked Faith
First band onstage are the (quite incredible) Wicked Faith. I first saw this band at the end of January this year, and I was quite literally GOBSMACKED with what I saw and heard. Incredible musicians, incredible songs and amazing stage presence only tells half the story. A combination of massive grooves, riffs that should have some kind of health warning, and the beautiful soaring vocals of front woman Jade make a lethal brew. The guys released their debut EP this year to a packed out B2, have supported Reckless Love at The Waterfront , and will now be hitting The Waterfront mainstage for the very first time with us in December. The term "future of rock music" is a well worn term, but with these guys, I really feel it's wholly appropriate. They are one genuinely exciting proposition and truly are NOT TO BE MISSED!!
7.45pm - No Mercy
No Mercy are the Godfathers of the Norwich hard rock scene. If you were at our Waterfront show last December, you will know that No Mercy have really embodied their approach and sound perfectly in their band name! Killer songs, riffs and attitude have ensured that these guys have built up and maintained a fantastic and loyal fan base, and I know they will have their brand spanking new album "Revolution" on sale at the Waterfront show, to give people a big fat dose of No Mercy in 2012. I've been lucky enough to have heard the album, and it SLAYS!! These guys are the real deal, and have proved it time and again, and I cant wait to see them smash it once again!!!
8.30 - Us!
Never did I think we would have headlined The Waterfront 3 times in the space of a year. To play a venue where all of us in Pout have stood and watched some of our biggest influences is truly is an honour! As is our tradition, we will be playing 2 (possibly 3) new songs on 7th December, and we really, REALLY cant wait to get back on that stage!! To do what we love doing, in the presence of possibly 700 of our friends, is something words cant really describe. Just know that we will bring the anthems, the fun, the hair and the spandex, we already know you lot will bring the atmosphere that makes these gigs so special!! We wont let you down people!!!! The party starts VERY soon.........:-)
So following the Waterfront show, we will be playing Yardbirds in Grimsby which is always an amazing night, and then it's Xmas!!! Keep your eyes peeled though, you never know, we may pop up somewhere on New Years Eve..........;-)
2013 is looking rosy, with gigs confirmed at the 02 Academies in Islington and Birmingham, as well as our debut in Wales!! But more about 2013 to follow..............
So, roll on 7th december for what will be the biggest Pout night yet...........and thank you all once again!!!
Lots of love

PATD - The Album
Word up, bitches! Steele here. Fuck yeah.
Exciting things are happening here in Pout Land. We are currently lining up our very first London show which we think will totally rule, and we're all very excited about introducing your nation's capital to the sounds of the world's best 80s hair metal tribute band! You've been jizzing your pants and cumming together over the Olympics, so let's see if we can make you do the same thing over even more spandex being thrust forcefully into your face. Plus, there will be no manly looking chicks at our show, unlike that female shot-putter who looked like Geoff Capes.
Even MORE rad news is that we have finally begun work on our debut album at Jeffie Satellites' bitchin' studio! Work commenced last week, with Razzle 'Autistic' Lambrini laying down the drums for twelve of your favourite hair metal tracks. He did this in roughly 90 minutes fuelled only by mushy peas and cocaine, after which he declared that "Click tracks are for fags" and "Musicians who spend two weeks doing drum tracks are just shit." Right on, RAYUZZ!
Eagle-eyes observers will spot that Randii is in fact in his civilian disguise (shaved-head cap, shorts, sandals and no make-up), because he had to walk to the studio from a strip club and he didn't want to be hassled by three-syllabled fans, as is the norm after a show.
Anyhow, the Thunder God did indeed manage to 'Lay it Down' (in the words of Pearcy) whilst the dream team of Satellites, Platinum, Steele and Lambrini produced from the safety of the control room. And by 'produced', we mean 'ate fish and chips and downloaded David Lee Roth soundboard apps onto their phones whilst LAMOW did all the work.' Oh yeah, plus there were chicks sucking us off under the desk, and a very special celebrity 'fan' in the room with us too:
There it is, on the left.
And here's a picture of Satellites in 'Mutt Lange' mode, unfortunately without the 'banging Shania Twain' part:

After that it was the turn of Randii LAMOW, who arrived at the studio last Tuesday with a bitch on each arm declaring that he wouldn't begin recording until a third was delivered, along with some 'liquid inspiration'. We all got confused for a minute, as 'liquid inspiration' is what Dirk calls his cock sauce, but after about half an hour and a separate band meeting in the control room, it was deduced that Randii actually meant Jack Daniel's. With this in mind, we sent Platinum on a recon mission to the local Happy Shopper, which totally turned out to be a huge mistake as he drank all the JD on the way back. This prompted Randii to throw an 'Axl Rose' and gently push over a mic stand and huff about the place a bit. Luckily one of the hookers he brought managed to calm him down with a wet handjob, after which he was thoroughly inspired to lay down some funky grooves.

(Jeffie also works in civilian disguise, because a few fans have found out the location of his studio and he would never get any work done if they spotted him with his real hair).
Anway that's about it for this fucking exciting update, we're trying to think of titles for the album at the moment so if anyone has any suggestions then please cum forth (babes) and share (your holes) with us. The current front-runner is 'Suck It, Bitch', closely followed by 'Now That's What I Call (Hair Metal) Music: Volume I'.

We're BACK!!
Ahhhhh.........finally, tomorrow night, The King Eddie, we are back in Norwich! Hurrah! It seems like an eternity since that amazing night at The Waterfront! 8 weeks to be exact! Since that night, when almost 600 of you beautiful people came and rocked with us, The Pocket Godzillas and Dead Red, we have been pretty darn busy!
Most of us were at Download the following weekend! It may have been muddy, but it still didn't stop us from ROCKING, and looking awesome whilst doing so. Myself, Dirk Steele and Randii LAMOW showed our commitment to the rock cause by getting off a bus that was stuck in a traffic jam, and hiking three miles to make the start of Little Angels eagerly awaited set! It was 20 years since I last saw them, and there was no way some gay traffic jam was gonna stop us! We made it, had time to grab a beer, and make it toward the front! After a quick *pbh* between us all, they hit the stage. Shit we're cool. The rest of the weekend was amazing, with Sebastian Bach, Metallica, Saint Jude, and of course the dark lords themselves BLACK SABBATH were the outstanding highlights! In fact, when Sabbath played "Into The Void", it may well have been the greatest 7 odd minutes ever!
I then buggered off to Spain for a week (oh yayuh), but it was straight back into action on my return. Rehearsal, then the following night we played a biker festival in Bungay, which ended up pretty bloody well actually! The following day we made our debut in the AWESOME Yardbirds rock club in Grimsby, for what was one of our best ever gigs! Amazing venue, brilliant crowd, very welcoming guys running the place. First class!
Anyway, that pretty much brings us to today, or should I say tomorrow, and The King Eddie! The fun starts at 8.15pm, when Dirty Rotten Cash hit the stage! Now, although we've known these guys for ages, this will be the first time we've seen them live, so it's going to be interesting and brilliant! I have known lead singer Rick for yonks, and I know one thing, it'll be MENTAL! Expect brilliantly punked up renditions of Johnny Cash songs, although that only tells half the story.......:-)
Then up next are Wicked Faith, a band we have got to know very well this year. I saw them for the very first time at the end of January this year, and they absolutely blew me away. Such exciting and talented young original rock bands dont come along very often, so when they do, it is something very special. They have since supported Pout several times and have kicked maximum ass every single time, and their profile and reputation is increasing daily! These guys are the real deal, and I cant wait to see them play tomorrow night :-)
Then it'll be US! As this is quite a special gig, we have pulled together a special set list! So, there will be a lot of songs you may NEVER have heard us play before! As well as a load of classics that you have! It's gonna rock whatever! Oh yayuh!
Anyway, see you tomorrow night people! Get there early and get a decent spot, I think it's gonn a be quite snug :-)
Lots of love and kisses

The big show is tomorrow!
Steele here - oh yayuh.
So tomorrow is our big Waterfront show here in good old Nor-wich. I remember when we first came to this town, shipped over in flight cases then assembled backstage at the Puppet Theatre, just like the start of the 'Other Side' video by Aerosmith. And as I sit here, high on cheap blow and in my refractory period, I thought it would be kind of rad to put my thoughts out to everyone on this, 'Sleazemas Eve'.
When we wrote all of these classic songs back in the 80s, we never thought we'd see the day when we would get to perform them to such a kickass crowd. Back in the early days it wasn't all parties, strip joints and Wimpey; it was hard rehearsals, early nights, and sucking off rich dudes so we could afford instruments (luckily I was fucking a smokin' karaoke star who let me borrow her microphone, so I didn't have to do any gay shit like the other guys). Anyway, my point is that bitchin' bands don't happen overnight, they take work, years of practice, and the occasional miming to a backing tape.
But all of that hard work would be for nothing without the most important people of all - strippers. These beacons of tittie-flippin' joy inspire us to rock the hardest we can every single night, because then they might let us fuck them after the show, or at least stay over for a week or two.
And after the strippers, there are the fans. The REAL people that matter. If you'd have told me when we started all this that we'd be playing to a (95%) sold out Waterfront, then I'd tell you that you were high, then ask you where you got your stash from. I think I speak on behalf of the rest of the band when I say that it means the world to us that you want to give up your precious free time to come and see us do what we love, and have a great time with us in the process. The fact that you love it too and 'get it' makes us enjoy it even more, and without you we'd just be dicking around to an empty venue and a pissy bar staff. We started this band for fun, and we're all honoured to have made so many great friends along the way who support what we do. Because of you, we get to live our dreams whenever we play!
So this one goes out to the Pout fans everywhere. Everyone who's bought a ticket for tomorrow, everyone who has booked a train or hotel, the people driving for miles, everyone who has been following our crazy antics from Day One and those who are having their 'Pout hymens' broken tomorrow night at their first show. We won't let you down.
Keep rockin', motherfuckers!!! \m/ \m/

3 weeks to go!!!
Razz here. Ok, so the big countdown to our Waterfront June 1st gig has
begun. 3 weeks and counting! I thought now would be a good time to just look
ahead to the night, and for those who don’t know them, give my own personal take
on the bands playing!
Dead Red – Onstage 7pm
Ok it’s an early start, and I know it’s easy to think “I’ll
get there in time for the headline act”, but on this occasion PLEASE DON’T! For me, Dead Red are one of the most exciting
bands I’ve heard in quite some time. I
first checked these guys out at an all dayer at The Marquee (R.I.P), and was
blown away by the combination of some huge riffs, massive grooves, great dynamics and mood changes, and the
soaring vocals of female lead singer Nikki, whilst always keeping the emphasis
on “the song”. You know when you hear a track and think to yourself “I could imagine this on a rock TV channel?” Well,
they have several songs in their artillery that provoke that type of
reaction. In a fair world, this band would
be massive, and as I’ve been lucky enough to hear one of the phenomenal tracks
from their upcoming album, they still might be…..
Pocket Godzillas – Onstage 7.45pm
Once you have recovered from Dead Red, you will have time to
grab a pint, chill out for 5 minutes, before The Pocket Godzillas come along,
and sonically punch you full in the face!
Full on, no holes barred, no bullshit, good time ROCK N ROLL. Instantly catchy songs, AMAZING lead vocals courtesy
of Bub, tight as a nuns twodge harmony vocals, and in Big Mike, they possess one
of the fiercest, hardest hitting yet technically AWESOME drummers in the
business. I would pay £5 to purley watch him snarl, shout, stick twirl and DESTROY
for 30 minutes! They could literally flatten
a field of corn with one song. I’ve been fortunate enough to catch these guys
several times, and they always kick my arse!
Rest assured, once you’ve seen them live, they are never forgotten!
Brilliant band!!
Pout At The Devil – Onstage 8.30pm
5 blokes, playing their favourite songs of all time. Plus they get to play “dress up” whilst doing
it. You know whats coming. The greatest sing along hits of 80’s rock,
including some new songs we shall be playing for the first time…….it’s gonna be
AWESOME……..trust me…….we wont let you down….:-) Plus we look damn good....
Once the gig is over, never fear. The Waterfront then becomes the greatest club
on the planet, playing nothing but 80’s hits until 2am!!
So all of THAT, for £5.
Kick off the jubilee long weekend with a bang!!. Is there any reason NOT to buy a ticket??
If you still dont have one, contact the bands, or order direct from the box office at
http://www.ueaticketbookings.co.uk/events/pout-at-the-devil---pocket-godzillaz---dead-red.aspx
BRING IT ONNNNNN!!!

First out of town gig 2012!
Steele here...oh yayuh.
This weekend saw the very first 'Pout Escape Norfolk' gig of 2012, and a damn good time was had by all. Journeying down in the back of the Pout Bus with Titch the soundman at the wheel, Randii, Platinum, Satellites and Steele passed the time by doing (and spilling) copious amounts of 'sherbert', reading Nuts magazing and playing Eye Spy. Randii ended up winning because all of his 'Eye Spys' were based around hallucinations he was having, due to ingesting a few teaspoons of laundry detergent instead of his travel sickness medicine. Razzle decided to have a diva fit moments before departure and chose to journey down on his own, which was cool with us because he's shit at travel games and whines like a bitch when he can't play on the kiddie rides at service stations (the little ferris wheel is his favorite).
We arrived at the venue with mere minutes to spare before the party was due to start, because some asshole had decided to hold us up on the M4 by crashing their car into the barrier (probably a Mod). Luckily Titch had been on the Relentless in the van, so the stage was set up and soundcheck was underway in 20 minutes. After blasting through a little 'Piece of Me' to start with and a quick rehash of a requested 'Fallen Angel', we were cocked, locked and ready to rock. Then the birthday dude told us it was free Jagermeister at the bar and Satellites was gone in a flash, a Jeffie-shaped hole in the wall between the stage and the bar.
The gig was great and I managed to crotch-bump some chick and make her pregnant (she facebooked me yesterday to tell me, but I blocked her). Then after the show we all got retarded drunk on free booze and high on Ginsters in the parking lot. Highlights of the show were the audience throwing home-made 'I Love PATD' thongs at us during the encore and Marco shouting "WALL OF DEATH" during the intro to 'Here I Go Again', because he's a fucking drunk.
The journey home was long and arduous, and I fell asleep on Titch whilst he was driving. Lucky bastard. Marco and I shared the front seat whilst Randii and Jeffiefucked in the back went to sleep lying down on beds in the back of the bus like a pair of fags. We got back to Norwich at 4.45am and Platinum and I hit the strip clubs, but they were all closed so we went to Karma Kafe and did blow in the toilets whilst being sick.
All in all a great gig and an awesome time on the road - catch you all at the Brickmaker's on April 6th!
